Akio whines and wraps his arms around Jin’s legs, because Jin is the easy one. Akio is a very very smart boy.
Kame has to maintain an air of stern determination of Jin will fall apart and they’ll never make it out of the apartment, and then they’ll both get fired and Akio won’t be able to go to a good school and then he’ll never go to college and he’ll have to become a host to support himself and his drug addict girlfriend. Kame makes such an entertaining paranoid father. XD
Kame’s always been a little bit jealous of Jin’s hands, because they’re so strong and reassuring, like the way a father’s hands should be. I love this line. *________*
They leave Akio drawing Santa climbing chimneys and killing dinosaurs with what appears to be some kind of giant machete in crayon at the kitchen table. Sometimes Kame thinks Akio is not quite clear on what it is that Santa actually does. ...there's so much win in this paragraph. I. Just. sdgsagasgs.
Oh, man. Jin is amazing. I can see Akio bragging to his friends at school about what his father's occupation is. "Isn't your father an idol?" his buddies will ask, and he'll proudly declare, "No, he's Santa Claus!" digajgdasdg iasdgf asidga ghasdg ajsgasgasdg.
I love this universe. I love Akame. I love Akio. And I love you. ♥
