Neat post. One correction, though, KAT-TUN are definitely not the first Johnny's to have solo concerts before their CD debut. KinKi Kids are famous for having a very late debut. They did concerts pretty much constantly for three years before their first single (and album, since they were released at the same time) came out. (The English Wikipedia article on them kind of sucks, but in the Japanese article (http://ja.wikipedia.org/wiki/KinKi_Kids#.E3.82.B3.E3.83.B3.E3.82.B5.E3.83.BC.E3.83.88) you can see that everything up through their A so Bo Concert tour in '97 was pre-debut.)
